Our internal testing has shown that the GPS satellite reception is dramatically reduced when wearing the Trackstick Battery on a belt around the waist. The reporting rate slows or stops depending upon how much of the satellite view is blocked by the wearer.

Because of these tests, we cannot recommend using the belt clip to wear the Trackstick Battery. It is a great device when used within its limitations, but this applicaiton is too marginal to generate reliable performance.
